Pad and Quill

One of my Christmas presents this year was an awesome Pad and Quill phone case. Disguised as a Moleskin notebook, it also offers some good screen protection. Unfortunately upon taking my first picture that needed a flash I found its downfall. The flash hits the wooden part of the case and reflects back into the lens creating a foggy snowstorm of a picture. The photo below shows an example with/without the case.

It's a good case disregarding the flash issue. Luckily I'm not a big fan of using the flash to begin with so I'm sticking with it. They make ones for iPads as well if that's your thing.

Guynica

I've been wanting to do this poster for a while now.

I just listed my replica of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica" on my Etsy page. Each character has been replaced by one of the immediate Griffin family members from "Family Guy". The scene is meant to take place after the news of Family Guy's first cancellation. Check it out here.

Ron Heathman - Roast Master

Here is a great, short video of True Beans Specialty Coffee's roaster, Ron Heathman. Ron is also known for his 20+ years with the Washington band The Supersuckers. I had the privilege of working with Ron for a year under the reich of Fresh Foods Cafe. Awesome dude and he can roast the hell out of coffee(in the good way).

I just tried a feature that Etsy provides that takes all of the info from your friends facebook pages and suggests gifts they would like. Pretty friggin nifty if you ask me. Apparently I need to buy my girlfriend a Lil Wayne t-shirt and Nirvana garden stones.

Pretty helpful if you're stumped on gifts.
