For the past few years I felt it was good practice to assume new people you meet have written a book. Just to give a stranger the benefit of the doubt on whether or not they could possibly impress you, makes for a much more positive meeting and friendlier interactions. Give it a try, maybe you'll give that person a 'fuck yes' once you actually get to know more about them.
I'm currently moving to downtown Seattle. I'm almost cleared out of my old place and it's pretty exhausting. Luckily my Men At Work vinyl is feeding me words of encouragement.
This is my first business convention. Don't let the hip brands and bright colors fool you. If you aren't a retail buyer then there is pretty much nothing to do at Agenda besides eat and drink.

Write a 3 page paper with a solution to the hunger crisis in LA...... uhhhhhhhh
I finally got the curage to try my luck with the newest iMovie. Finally. Not so bad once I understood it. I might add I'm also using iPhoto after shunning it previously. Hey, it got better.
Went to the Long Beach Red Bull Flugtag today. Didn't see who won, but saw a good amount of creative floats. The most creative of course being the Obama flying machine, which was also backed with a very creative "Baby Got Back" parody song(Bama got flaps).
It did pretty well.
Check out this panoramic. All those little specs under the lighthouse are people! Estimated 105,000 people showed up for this thing.
You'll never guess who I served today at my work....
No, seriously, you will NEVER guess it. Really, you never will. You don't even know this guy.
His name is Ron Austar, but most people some recognize him as Pierre from the Adult Swim show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job. His main deal on the show is teaching kids how to dance, as well as some impromptu mediation.
Anyways, he came into my work today and got a split pea soup. Sadly, none of my coworkers are avid T&E watchers so I was the only one mumbling under my breath about Pierre. I jump to the soup bar to be the one to help him.
"You got any ham to go with that?"
"uhhhh..... no?" (I'm new)
"ok..... well what about crackers, can I get some crackers?"
"Well we have bread, white and wheat."
"No crackers?"
(turn to manager)"Uhhhh, do we have crackers?"
"No we don't"
"I'm sorry, we don't have crackers. But we do have bread sticks."
"Ok I'll take some bread sticks. (I put one in the bag) Whoa I'm gonna need more than that."
(I add another bread stick and then tilt my head and squint my eyes)"You want one more?"
"Yeeeaaa, one more."
All of this while he had someone on the phone.
....and that was about it. No life changing experience, but I mean, what are the odds? I work at Catalina Landing in downtown Long Beach for crying out loud, what's he doing here?
That meditation clip always creeped me out, haha. He has another funny one about a special "dream cream", which you rub on your body to implement dreams, but it takes a turn for the worse and sends him into a nightmare, but I couldn't find it.
It's hard to get back into the swing of things after a little vacation. I just got back home from my trip to Seattle, with little to no internet the entire trip. It was quite nice.
Photos coming soon along with video and a book (ok, no book).
I'm sure I'll understand this blog thing again eventually.
I got to grace a page of AP this month for the Music Saves Lives company profile. It's in the issue with MO on the cover (and the other MO on mage 35).
I'm glad I got to see it before my subscription ended (this is my last issue) because I plan on never subscribing again. You can't hide a shit sandwich with some Manchester Orchestra bread if you know what I mean. Nudge nudge
Today is my birthday. I am 22. I don't plan on posting anything today. I plan on not doing a damn thing to make my life productive and just enjoy the fact that my birthday fell on a saturday this year. Happy birthday to me.
Lately I've been going to Costco for my temp job as a PA, buying muffins and water and all the assortments for a good morning. While I browsed the aisles today I noticed how shitty Costco is laid out. This place is literally the worst place to go to shop comfortably. More power to the prices, can't beat those, but give me a break with this floor plan.
